This January we’ve been busy with some very complete breakfasts. Because we all know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day to give you all the energy and vitamins you need for the rest of the day. When you sleep, your body does different vital jobs, including regenerating your tissues and processing nutrients, and in this way you use energy.
The calories and minerals you use up need replacing in the best possible way, and this is why a good breakfast is so important. So we suggest you make some muesli bars to make sure you start the day at 100%.
You’ll make the bars using our Organic Spelt Drink. And you’ll also put nuts into these bars, which you can take with you wherever you go.
- 450 g de natural muesli
- 200 g flour
- 150 g natural yoghurt
- 100 g raw cane sugar
- 1 egg
- 4 spoonfuls of honey
- Pieces of whatever nut you like
- 60 ml Amandín Organic Spelt Drink
- 1 spoonful of cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon of yeast
- 30 ml oil
Preheat the oven to 175º
Mix the following ingredients together in a bowl: the muesli, the flour, the yeast, the sugar and the cinnamon. Stir well until all the ingredients are thoroughly mixed in.
Then add the pieces of nuts, the honey, the yoghurt, the egg, the oil and the Amandín Spelt Drink. Mix it well to make an even mixture.
Put the mixture on an oven tray, on a sheet of baking paper to stop it sticking. Spread it around well so that it’s all the same thickness.
Bake well for between 35 and 45 minutes. After taking it out of the oven, cut it into pieces and then let them cool.
Hornearemos bien, entre unos 35 y 45 minutos. Después de sacarlo del horno, lo partiremos a trozos y después dejaremos enfriar.
